Maryam Soleiman | Director of Business Affairs

Maryam Soleiman oversees the day-to day business affairs of the company’s many areas of concentration, from license negotiation to music publishing administration, as well as advising clients with respect to issues concerning rights and clearances, music licensing, music publishing, and copyright law. Prior to joining The Rights Workshop, Maryam worked in-house for Live Nation where she administered Live Nation's trademark and copyright assets. She also draws from her experiences working with artists at the leading Los Angeles-based music law firms of King, Holmes, Paterno & Berliner, LLP and Davis, Shapiro, Lewit & Hayes, LLP, where she specialized in contract negotiation and music publishing administration. She brings with her a deep understanding of the entertainment and music industries and is an experienced liaison between artists, record companies, publishers and managers. She holds a J.D. from California Western School of Law and a B.A. from UCLA.
