American Hardcore
Based on Steve Blush’s book of the same name, American Hardcore documents some of the pioneers of the hardcore punk music scene in America. Bands such as Black Flag, Bad Brains, D.O.A., Minor Threat and The Minutemen are featured. The rights to their music, originally released on independent and now defunct record labels, reverted back to the members of the band, so rights clearance became an unusually intimate experience.
